Minecraft in the Middle School: An interdisciplinary experience between Design and Mathematics. Teachers from Design and Mathematics will share their interdisciplinary experience of teaching a unit where students have the opportunities of: (a) carry-out productive explorations of properties of shapes in 3-D, (b) develop in-school collaborative learning experiences in sync with preteens preferable social contexts, and (c) participate in service-leaning activities. OneNote for everything

I would like to talk about how we have created a school which is cloud based and how we have transformed the way we work with a Microsoft tool called Microsoft OneNote.

I believe OneNote is one of the most significant tools which has appeared in education in the last decade. With the right hardware it is a real game changer in education.

We started with a pilot project with only 3 teachers but now we have all of secondary school working using this tool. But this is not all, we are also using this tool for our teaching staff plus coordinators and also for our admin staff becoming the more important collaborative tool in our school. I would like to explain how this tool has changed the way we work, collaborate and share in a more effective way.From the educational point of view it has a tremendous impact in the way teachers and students communicate and collaborate. Making easy the formative feedback bringing to focus what is more important, the student and the personalization of the education being able to give instant feedback to your students in a variety of ways (digital ink, voice or video), everything inside the same application which make it easy and useful.
